The verifier reads the live record, rebuilds the exact canonical content and computes its SHA-256. If the data was altered, the hash changes.
It checks the stored ML-DSA-65 signature over that hash against the signer's public key, via the sovereign pqc-service. Quantum-computer resistant (NIST FIPS 204).
It flips one character and re-verifies — the signature must be rejected. That's the guarantee: forge nothing, hide nothing.
